How I prepare for a photoshoot.
A photoshoot is influenced by many factors. Sometimes, simply knowing baby calming techniques isn't enough. But through this article, I want to invite you to better understand how I prepare as a photographer. It's crucial to have the necessary knowledge of wrapping before every newborn shoot, to know how to transition between positions and how to have the most efficient workflow. I prefer to photograph newborns between 5 and 15 days old. This is the age when they are still sleeping and their hand and foot muscles are not yet fully developed. This is where my approach to preparing for the shoot comes in. First, I interview the parents to get to know them very well and find out what they want from me as a photographer. Once I have this information, I prepare a well-thought-out plan before meeting them for the photoshoot with their baby. I select my wraps and photo props according to the parents' wishes and send them a list of useful information so they can prepare for the meeting. Once all the necessary information is gathered, I look forward to the day of the shoot and creating beautiful memories together.
